On October 1, 2007 Maya Wrap has decided to stopp selling and delivering Original Maya Wrap Slings and Lightly Padded Maya Wrap Slings until further notice.  Apparently one of the aluminum rings broke on the sling and the slings and rings are being investigated to determine the cause of the failure. There was no reported injury to the mother or the baby.  The company is expected to have a statment about the investigation and possibility of a recall if necessary by Tuesday October 9, 2007.
