Knitted breasts are being used at Liverpool Women's Hospital in England.  The hospital needed a cheaper alternative to synthetic breasts used for teaching mothers how to breastfeed and how to express milk.  The breasts are produced in a variety of skin shades and offer a low-cost simple teaching tool.  The Lactation Consultants of Great Britain have instructions to make your own knitted breasts.
